The Dump truck is a motor vehicle designed to transport loose materials such as sand or gravel.
The Dump truck is built on the three axles chassis of the standard truck, widely used in the Pre-War United States. It is equipped with a hydraulically operated open-box bed hinged at the rear, the front of which can be lifted up to allow the contents to be deposited on the ground behind the truck at the site of delivery. Post-War, the truck appears to have suffered relatively little damage, the worst of the damage being the removal of all 6 tires at some unknown period of time.
