Poor Earl. Gone just like that. Such a good bartender. Good friend. Oh, but terrible with women, mind you. Bull in china shop with them.”— Vadim Bobrov, Fallout 4
Earl Sterling was a twenty five year old resident of Diamond City who was a bartender at the Dugout Inn, and was reported missing to the Valentine Detective Agency by Vadim Bobrov when he hadn't shown up to work for a few days. He was to be a recipient of facial reconstruction surgery per the service of Doc Crocker, until he was murdered when the surgery failed and Crocker sought to keep his reputation.

Vadim Bobrov: "Poor Earl. Gone just like that. Such a good bartender. Good friend. Oh, but terrible with women, mind you. Bull in china shop with them. You with Valentine's Detective Agency? Forgot to drop off Earl's key when I hired you people. Here. I hope you find out what happened. Security does nothing but yell at me for asking about it."
