Fallout 4, The next installment in the Fallout franchise and a game that most of you are eagerly waiting for. One of the biggest questions about Fallout 4 is when it will be released? Well, I'm here to put my input on the topic.

First, I would like to say that this is my opinion and everything I say should be taken with a grain of salt. I hope you will voice your opinions in the comments as well.

I will be basing this blog on the viewpoint of a major business leader at Bethesda Softworks, this means that I will have to answer to Zenimax Media. Bethesda's parent company is going to play a major role in when Fallout 4 is going to released. This is also why the game is going to be coming out in 2015. I do not see Zenimax allowing Bethesda to release a game during one of Zenimax's biggest releases, I'm of course talking about The Elder Scrolls Online. This game will be a major release for Zenimax Online and a big money maker for Zenimax Media.

Fallout 4 will likely be made on the Creation Engine, which is the engine The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim uses, This will be an improvement (graphicly speaking) over the aging Gamebryo engine which Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas are based on. Bethesda Game Studios will be able to produce Fallout 4 faster then Skyrim was produced because they will be used to working with the engine and will likely reuse some basic aspects from Skyrim. I see three years being the right amount of time for Bethesda to produce a game that will have updated graphics and a slightly larger game world then what was in Skyrim.

This will be a Bethesda game, which means one thing, there will be bugs. I hope to see Bethesda Game Studios spend a little more time in the testing room, fixing the numerous bugs that come with open-world games. I do not want a repeat of the release of Skyrim, where the game was almost unplayable for PS3 users due to game not being optimized. There still will be bugs and I'm okay with that, I just want some more time being spend on working them out.

Three years is also the average for the amount of time it takes for Bethesda Game Studios to make a game (4 for Morrowind (2002), 4 for Oblivion (2006), 2 for Fallout 3 (2008), the average is 3.3 repeating ) Bethesda Game Studios began to focus on an unnamed project after the release of Skyrim's last DLC, Dragonborn, which was released in late December 2012. Another reason that points to a release date in 2015.

With all this said, Fallout 4 will be released on October 25th, 2015. Be there or be square (Get it, Fallout 4, Squares have 4 sides. Ah, Nevermind...)

As said before, This is my OPINION. I hope to hear yours...

Here's a video that kinda touches on this topic, it's a good laugh and I hope you check it out.
