Erik Deitrick is a developer who worked at Bethesda Game Studios on Fallout 3 as an interface programmer. He also worked on Fallout 4 as the lead interface programmer and on Fallout 76 as a user interface programmer.

Work on the Fallout series[]

In Fallout 3 and Fallout 4, Deitrick worked heavily on the user interface for the Pip-Boy in each game, as well as in-game menus.[1] Deitrick was also a major contributor to the Hacking minigame, introduced in Fallout 3. Deitrick took inspiration from a text-based game he played in high school when replacing an old variation of the minigame, and Deitrick's new format for hacking made its way into the final game.[2]
