Overview

Consumables play an integral role in Fallout 76, as the game requires regular meals and drink to stave off death due to starvation and dehydration. they also provide various bonuses, limited primarily to high-end meals. Furthermore, the vast majority of food and drink must be brewed at a cooking station, while chems must be created at a chemistry station. In the wild, raw ingredients, pre-War processed foods, and a limited number of high quality chems are the only pickings.
