Fallout 76 weapons can have various legendary effects. They are dropped at random by epic enemies or received as rewards for completing quests.

Each legendary can have a single Tier 1.

List of effects[edit | edit source]

Tier 1 effects

Name of effect Description
Anti-Scorched 25% more damage against Scorched, 20% less against everything else.
Anti-Armor Ignores 50% of your target’s armor.
Assassin’s +10% damage to players.
Berserker’s Deal more damage the lower your Damage Resistance.
Bloodied Does more damage the lower your health.
Concussive +33% VATS hit chance
Executioner’s +50% more damage when your target is below 40% health.
Exterminator’s Does 30% more damage against Mirelurks and bugs.
Furious Damage increased after each consecutive hit on the same target.
Ghoul Slayer’s Does 30% more damage against Ghouls.
Hunter’s Does 30% more damage against animals.
Instigating Does double damage if the target is at full health.
Junkie’s Deal more damage the more chem withdrawal effects you currently have.
Medic’s V.A.T.S. crits will heal you and your group.
Mutant’s Damage increased by 10% if you are mutated.
Mutant Slayer’s +30% damage to Super Mutants.
Never Ending Unlimited ammo capacity.
Nocturnal Does increasing amounts of damage as the night grows longer, but less damage during the day.
Quad Quadruple ammo capacity
Stalker’s If not in combat, +100% V.A.T.S. accuracy at +50% AP cost.
Suppressor’s Reduce your target’s damage output by 20% for 3 seconds.
Troubleshooter’s +30% damage to robots
Two Shot Shoots an additional projectile.
Zealot’s +30% damage to Scorched
Vampire's Gain brief health regeneration when you hit an enemy

Tier 2 effects

Reflects 50% of melee damage back while blocking
V.A.T.S. Critical shots do +50% damage
40% faster wing speed
Double Double ammo Capacity
90% reduced Weight
Bashing damage increased by 40%
+33% V.A.T.S. hit chance
+250 Damage Resistance while reloading
Explosive Bullets explode for 15 area damage.
+50% limb damage
Take 40% less damage while power attacking
Faster movement speed while aming
40% faster swing speed
25% faster fire rate
+50 Damage Resistance while aming
+10% damage while amming
More damage the lower your Damage resistance
+1 Agility
+1 Endurance
25% less V.A.T.S. Action Points cost
V.A.T.S. Critical meter fill 15% faster
15% faster reload
