Fast Metabolism is a trait in Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics and Lionheart. In Van Buren it was renamed to Increased Metabolism.

Your metabolic rate is twice normal. This means that you are much less resistant to radiation and poison, but your body heals faster.

This trait adds +2 to your Healing Rate, but your radiation and poison resistances start at 0%. This perk is unavailable to ghouls and robots in Fallout Tactics.
Your metabolic rate is increased. This means that you are much less resistant to radiation and poison, but your body heals faster. This gives you a -10% to radiation and poison resistance, but a +2 to healing rate.
Your metabolic rate is twice the normal rate. This means that you are actually more susceptible to disease and poison, but your body heals faster. You have an increased Healing Rate, but your disease and poison resistances start at -10%. Feralkins cannot take this trait.
