The gilded paint is a paint scheme in Fallout 76.

Characteristics[]

A gold-black color scheme, the gilded paint adds ornate gold patterns inlaid into the black material on weapons. The words "Strike Breaker" are inlaid on the left side of the weapon above its drum, in reference to the minigun owned by Bill Garrahan prior to the Great War.[1]

Location[]

All paints are available through the Atomic Shop.

Notes[]

  • Prior to the paint scheme's release in the Atomic Shop, a minigun which had been pre-modified with the gilded paint could be randomly found on the corpses of Scorched. This minigun could not be modified without losing the paint scheme. As of the Steel Reign update, these miniguns can be made legendary without losing the paint scheme.
  • A legacy minigun, "Strike Breaker," could originally be found in the Garrahan Estate, and appeared as a clean version of the gilded minigun with silver rather than gold lining. See here for further details.
