A rotary laser cannon boasting four independent AER9 barrel assemblies, the Gatling laser is intended for suppression and elimination of the heaviest and most durable targets. Due to the excessive power consumption, this model of the Gatling is powered by a fusion core, granting 500 units of energy - more than enough to annihilate any foe.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Unlike its smaller cousins, the laser rifle and laser pistol, the Gatling laser requires a great deal more power at a higher rate of consumption to maintain its rate of fire. As such, the heavy weapon is fueled by the same fusion cores that drive infantry power armor.

With ranks in the Nuclear Physicist perk, the Gatling Laser can fire between 250 and 500 rounds before expending a Fusion core. Final Judgment is Elder Maxson's unique Gatling Laser. It is functionally equivalent to a normal Gatling Laser, but with the Rapid legendary effect which gives the weapon +25% fire rate and a 15% faster reload speed.
