Just a little rest stop that me and my good friend Lupe set up. Last stop on your way into New Vegas, first stop on your way out, that's what I say.

Fitz is the owner and proprietor of the Grub n' Gulp rest stop in Fallout: New Vegas.

Background[edit | edit source]

Fitz set up the GnG together with his good friend Lupe, to benefit from the steady influx of travelers and troops into New Vegas.[1] He does well for himself; his usual clientele involves NCR patrols dropping in for a quick bite and travelers passing through several times in a week.[2] Fitz sits on a fair amount of meat shipments.[3][4] He also likes the idea of expanding his enterprise and opening a small café restaurant with a diverse selection of food and drink.[5] He also knows where one can go for other services like medical care and weapons shops.[6]

Notable quotes[edit | edit source]

  • "[McCarran could work out a regular exchange of fresh vegetables and clean water.] Rations do get tight from time-to-time and it would be nice to keep a regular stock of goods. If I get a big delivery brought in, I'll be sure to send a good chunk of it off to McCarran right away. Tell Farber I'll try and have the first shipment sorted in a week or two."

Appearances[edit | edit source]

Fitz appears only in Fallout: New Vegas.

  2. The Courier: "How's business?"
Fitz: "I do decent enough. The NCR patrols usually stop by for a quick bite, and travelers like yourself pass by a couple times a week."
    (Fitz's dialogue)
  3. The Courier: "Corporal Farber said they can pay you the going market price in caps."
Fitz: "Hey, that sounds good to me. No more wasted meat just laying around to rot. I can keep my stock fresh and keep the caps flowing. If I get a big delivery brought in, I'll be sure to send a good chunk of it off to McCarran right away. Tell Farber I'll try and have the first shipment sorted in a week or two."
    (Fitz's dialogue)
  4. The Courier: "McCarran is looking for a regular delivery of meat from local merchants."
Fitz: "Really? Well, I obviously couldn't supply enough to feed the entire camp, but I'm game. What kind of caps are we talking here?"
    (Fitz's dialogue)
  5. The Courier: "They have an tons of vegetables and water. How about expanding your business?"
Fitz: "Expanding isn't a bad idea. Maybe I could open up a small cafe restaurant with the more diverse inventory... If I get a big delivery brought in, I'll be sure to send a good chunk of it off to McCarran right away. Tell Farber I'll try and have the first shipment sorted in a week or two."
    (Fitz's dialogue)
  6. The Courier: "Where can I find a doctor around here?"
Fitz: "Doctor Usanagi runs a medical clinic up the road."
The Courier: "Is there any place to buy weapons and armor?"
Fitz: "I think there a few places, but I've heard that the Gun Runners sell the best."
