This flamethrower fuel uses an advanced super-burn mix.

Flamethrower fuel Mk II is a type of ammunition in Fallout 2.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Mk II flamethrower fuel can only be made by giving Algernon, of New Reno Arms, a tank of regular flamethrower fuel, though merchants in San Francisco may sell it at times. Mk II fuel shares the same high AC bonus as regular fuel, but does not increase enemy DR, allowing it to do more damage.

Locations[edit | edit source]

  • Sold by weapons merchants, but rarely. The fuel can be reliably bought from Eldridge, Buster, or San Francisco merchants.

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

The improved flamer's unique weapon perk, Flameboy, was originally meant to only allow Mk II flamer fuel to work in the improved flamer. The perk is defective, and both types of fuel can be used in both types of flamers.
