After I finish Wild Card: Side Bets, Yes Man tells me about Mr. House calculations about killing the NCR presidents. In the talk options I have: "I don't care about the president", and "The NCR hates me. They won't let me 1000 feet near him" (or something like that). Any way, after I choose either of these, I automaticaly fail the quest "You'll know it when it happens", and I don't can't save him, because if I go to Hoover Dam it seems like he had already died. According to this page: http://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Wild_Card:_Finishing_Touches. I should be able to save the president and this quest leads to "You'll Know It When It Happens". What's up with that? I wan't to advance with Yes Man but be on good terms with the NCR by saving their president. By the way, I'm currently also doing "For The Republic, Part II" in order to negotiate peace between the NCR and the Brotherhood of Steel if it matters. Is the information on this page wrong or do I just have a bug? and if I do, how do I fix it?
- I'm having this exact same problem. Is it maybe because I STARTED doing the NCR stuff as well, ie got right up to the brotherhood and NCR thing like you did, but then went back and went solo instead? Does that screw everything up? Because I'm still idolized by NCR, despite losing some fame for giving the chip to yes man and such, and yet my character's only possible responses are those stupid "They hate me"/"I don't care" responses.
I started the NCR quests as well but I still got to save the president, I only got to the Omertas part though. Then I sided with yes man.

I have been doing Yes Man from the start, Caesar as well as all the troops in the fort and i've been in the damn before and massacred everyone.
