So, because I have been designing a few websites recently, I thought I would offer some thoughts and possibly evoke some opinions of a few changes to the styles on the current skin.

I understand that in light of the move, many fixes for broken features are in the works, and this discussion might be ignored until bigger issues are cleared up. So, take this at your leisure, anyone reading.

My first proposal has to do with the image galleries. Though a small, nitpicky detail really: I think it looks a bit odd when a gallery has an incomplete row (> 5 images), and yet it is left-aligned. I believe a simple "margin: auto" for the gallery container would be cosmetically sound, as it centers the content and uses all available space. Ghouly89 23:21, 2 December 2011 (UTC)

"margin: auto;" would do precisely nothing on both the gallery container and the individual gallery items :P The galleries are set up as unordered lists with left-floated list items (so the number of images per row can adapt dynamically to the available space) and centering floated items via "margin" doesn't work ;) -- Porter21 (talk) 10:20, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
Indeed, you are right Porter (blast). I vaguely remembered looking at the page and seeing a "div" as the containing element for the UL, but the list IS the container. Well, there goes my dream of a centered gallery ; n ; Ghouly89 22:04, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
