Look, my dad used to always say "You can do whatever you want in life but the family comes first".”— Fred Wilks, to his son Bryan.
Fred Wilks is the father of Bryan Wilks, found dead in his home in Fallout 3.
Wilks was a single father to Bryan. He instilled in his son a deep respect for family, telling him "You can do whatever you want in life, but family comes first."
Fred died in his home in Grayditch, defending it from a fire ant attack. He was apparently separated from Bryan before this event, as when the player finds Bryan, they are tasked with finding Fred.
