Freeside's north gate is a location within Freeside in the Mojave Wasteland in Fallout: New Vegas.
Layout
Situated northwest of the Crimson Caravan Company, Freeside's north gate is run-down and is simply guarded by a handful of Kings members and Orris (before completing G.I. Blues). The roads leading out are cracked and broken. The location is a high-traffic area for barter and commerce, and it's not surprising to see many traveling merchants around the area selling their supplies. Both the Gun Runners and the Crimson Caravan Company reside in the vicinity, boasting a large selection of guns, ammunition, and armor of various kinds, making this particular loop a lucrative trade circuit for any aspiring merchants.
Entering the gate moves one into the north section of Freeside, close to the Old Mormon Fort where the Followers of the Apocalypse perform their humanitarian functions safely behind the walls of both Freeside and the fort.
Notable loot
- Hunting revolver - Carried by Orris.
- Cram Opener - a unique variant of the bladed gauntlet, found on the body of Little Buster. The body spawns on the train tracks adjacent to the north face of the Old Mormon Fort after completing Three-Card Bounty for Major Dhatri at Camp McCarran and waiting outside Freeside for a few days to an in-game week.
