The fusion pulse charge is a miscellaneous item in Fallout 3 and a junk item in Fallout 4.

Fusion pulse charges are designed to fuse atoms together to release enough energy to set off a powerful pulse of energy. This allows the device to start an atomic chain reaction, turning a fusion reactor into a thermonuclear bomb,[1][2] or to detonate a nuclear warhead.[3]
