The Greasers are a small band of raiders in New Vegas in 2281.

Background[edit | edit source]

Led by Greasy Johnny, this pack of miscreants hide out in the sewers of North Vegas. According to Crandon, the goons are "folks that don't belong: murderers, rapists, extortionists and everything in between" and they need to be dealt with before they can expand and cause even more problems.[1]

Outside relations[edit | edit source]

The Greasers are hostile to anyone unfortunate enough to not be in their gang. They care nothing for anyone outside their ranks and could cause some serious trouble if they ever came to the surface.

Technology[edit | edit source]

The Greasers are in possession of the the lowest common denominator when it comes to weapons; improvised melee weapons, like pool cues and baseball bats; some are even lucky enough to have a measly 5.56mm bolt-action rifle. Their leader, however, is in possession of some form or energy weapons or a shotgun.

Appearances[edit | edit source]

The Greasers appear in Fallout: New Vegas.

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

  • Greasers were an American 1950s form of youth gang.

Crandon: "Good work with those newcomers. I think you can handle more serious business... with more serious rewards. There's a handful of greasers down in the sewers causing trouble. They ain't packing too much iron, but I'd like them dealt with all the same."
The Courier: "What kind of trouble?"
Crandon: "Folks that don't belong. Murderers, rapists, extortionists, and everything in between. You know, business as usual in North Vegas, stranger."
