Grisham is an active, smart man of age in charge of the meat business of the agricultural town. Unlike most other inhabitants, his business has been helped by the drought, as the farmers cull their herds to reduce costs and keep their businesses alive. However, he looks at the big picture and knows that should the drought continue, his business will implode.

- Guard brahmin herd for Grisham: Grisham will hire the player to protect his brahmin from wild dogs at night. The pay is $1000, minus $100 per brahmin killed.
- Help Bess the Brahmin: The Chosen One can sell Bess to Grisham.
- If the player sleeps with either child (gender is not an issue), they will be interrupted by Grisham who may force them to a shotgun wedding. Good Speech allows the player to pass it off as a medical inspection. Running away from either the scene or the marriage will turn Modoc hostile.
- If the spouse is killed, Grisham will have a heart attack when he hears the news. He is then replaced by Biff for subsequent encounters.
