Gulper devourer is a creature in Fallout 76.

Background[edit | edit source]

Main article: Gulpers (Fallout 76)

Salamanders mutated by the radioactive environment of The Mire, the gulpers are virtually identical to the creatures that infest Mount Desert Island nearly two centuries later and continue to grow throughout their life.[1] Gulpers are vicious predators and have been a constant threat to human habitation in the Mire ever since their appearance, capable of tearing off limbs with ease.[2]

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Main article: Gulpers (Fallout 76)

Gulpers are a higher level adversary and are largely analogous to the deathclaws, with whom they share their special attacks and animation set. They are very much not to be taken lightly, although they do not have a resistance to poison, which makes them rather vulnerable.
