The handmade rifle is a weapon in Fallout 76.

Background[edit | edit source]

Manufactured by hand by the gunsmiths of the Free States, this rifle is based on the legendary AK. It is a gas operated rifle with a rotating bolt, whose generous tolerances mean it can be reliably used in the dusty, ruined environments of the post-nuclear wasteland with only a modest amount of maintenance and upkeep. There are plenty of modifications available, which allow for tailoring it to suit any mission profile, from close combat assaults to long range sniping and anywhere in between.[1]

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

The handmade rifle is a powerful tool in anyone's arsenal and rivals the combat rifle in terms of versatility. Modifications available enable it to be used in any role, from close range assaults to marksmanship, which combined with the right perks make it a balanced combat option that can excel in any role on the battlefield. The only drawback is that it cannot mount the recon scope.

The rifle can be crafted for level 15, 25, 35, 45.
