A certain project.

Hello, Agent! Well, I'm writing because I heard you're the man to talk to when one needs to spread the word around about projects. I've just started the Fallout 1/2 Quotations Project (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_Wiki:Fallout_1/2_Quotations_Project), whose purpose you may know, taking into account my specialty here at Nukapedia. The project is an attempt to improve the conceptual aspects of early Fallouts articles, and it'll make my job a lot easier and more organised. Also, in the future, I can organise a Fallout 3/New Vegas Quotations Project, who knows. I hope you can help me. Cheers,

--Crimson Frankie 05:52, March 21, 2012 (UTC)

Well, Agent, thanks for everything, first and foremost. The soundbyte is as follows.

The articles of this wiki have an outstanding amount of information. As a long-term reader, I’ve always appreciated that. One particular part of the articles that I’ve always found singular was the quotes section: remarkable sentences that conceptually define the subject the article is about, be it a character or a whole faction. They literally open the article, and they provide the readers with in-game lines that sometimes can give them goosebumps – like the ones found on Marcus’ article do with me–, and make those readers more familiar with the actual feeling of the game. Unfortunately, some notable pages lack quotes – especially from the earlier games –, and as a new editor, having already added quotes to several articles, I want to change that. The Fallout 1/2 Quotations Project aims to add those pleasant, precise quotes that may seem like a simple element, but that make Nukapedia so appreciable and complete. My intention is to improve and beautify Fallout 1 and 2 articles, but perhaps there will be another opportunity for a Quotation Project for the new games as well. That's part of my mission, and any contributor will be very welcome.

Crimson Frankie.

I hope it's okay. Since I'm not a native English speaker, there can be some mistakes or typos there. Feel free to correct them. ;-) I also hope the format is right. Cheers, mate.

Hello there. Well, straight to it I guess, myself being fairly new still to this wiki and its workings, would love to join your newly created (and may I say great idea) New User Network. I don't know what to think. Part of me wants this to be over and done with right now so I can get on with it. The other part of me is ashamed of facing the community again... I don't know why, maybe because I'm more trouble than I'm worth. Really, this place would do just fine without me. A lot of these quotes are one sided. I'm feeling attacked by people I cared about. It's not nice, I tell you what. They all of a sudden think they know me and they know how I feel. They seem to ignore the fact that Cartman started insulting me first. These people who've known me for a few months think they're fucking experts on me, when really they're just saying what they see. It hurts. These are insults. I don't know why they're going on about why people are sick of me for this, because it's the only time I've ever done it. The comments don't make me wanna stay here. I take being called a spoilt child, saying that I spaz out, implying that everyone is fed up with me, and making it out as if Cartman is completely innocent and didn't do anything to warrant my behaviour as being personal. I don't know about you, but if someone were to insult me in public then call me a spoilt child for reacting, generally I'd take offence. I can't help it if I get offended by these statements. Nor do I consider them attacks on my personality, which might I add, this is the only time I've acted up like this. So to say that they're "fed up" with me is nothing short of bullshit, or just an opportunity to say something bad about me. Yes Man defaultUser Avatar talk 01:41, March 24, 2012 (UTC)

I don't recall calling you a spoilt child. And we're fed up with the whole admin weekly drama, not just your actions specifically. Yours just happened to be the drop that made the glass overflow. Limmiegirl Lildeneb Talk! ♪ 01:47, March 24, 2012 (UTC)
Yessie, just because I disapproved of your actions doesn't mean you're any less of a friend to me. I am just generally hard pressed as to why you got so angry over ONE user insulting you. I get my feelings hurt all the time, it happens to everyone. Cartman is one user on this wiki in a sea of other users. ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────We'll see how things turn out on April 6. Regardless of how the vote is going, I don't know if I want to stay yet. I'll think about it. But honestly, it's not easy for me that once I speak out, people don't like what I have to say. I'm not the smartest nor am I the most socially-confident person in the world. So, you know, it wasn't easy for me to articulate what I wanted to explain. And Cartman was just making it worse.
There are still many people here who I care about. But for the most part, it's seeming more and more like this isn't the kind of community I want to be a part of. It was a simple concept I wanted to incorporate. This "wiki-drama" only became a drama once Scarface decided to make a poll about removing admins. It's really not my fault that the community got involved in something between Cartman and I. Yes Man defaultUser Avatar talk 01:59, March 24, 2012 (UTC)

No YM, it became a drama when you decided to make a fuss about leaving till Cartman was gone and blocked yourself. That's what I referred to as "childish tantrum and passive-aggressive emotional blackmail". You could have handled it in a myriad of manners, including asking for moderation (which is what the guidelines suggest), but instead you chose the most childish and dramatic way possible, and that honestly made me wonder if you are fit to be and administrator. I voted for you back when you made the request because I believed you would capable of upholding your position maturely and professionally. It was big a vote of confidence that shouldn't be taken lightly. But your reaction to both the argument and the later tantrum made me disappointed and regret my decision. That doesn't reflect my personal opinion of you however, which remains the same. I can't speak for him, but I suspect it was the same with Scar. Defence

Agent, I'm sorry, but I'm not going to sit around and let people talk to me like that.
It might not help my case but I'm not going to lie down and let people say things about me which are frankly not true. I think it's apparent that this whole issue has upset me dearly. And no matter how many times I make my case, it doesn't matter. People just keep saying things that are false, like that I'm the one who started this whole wiki-drama crap. Or when they say that they still like me, yet they then follow it up with harsh comments directed at me.
I'm not good at this sort of thing. Before I got a chance to write my defence they were already saying that I had no defence and that I didn't care. Of course I care. After all the work I put into this place they just sweep me under the table over one outburst? The people who apparently cared for me didn't care enough to consult me or ask me what was wrong before leaping at the opportunity to kick me out.
People can say they lose respect for me because frankly, if they can't respect me for standing up against Cartman then I don't think I respect them. It showed me the true colours of people. The people who, the minute I started speaking up in the community, shot me down and are now pursuing it so that I never want to come back here.
I considered Scarface my best friend on this Wiki, but he's been the one who's hurt me the most. I'm not going to sit there and let them treat me like this any longer, I'm going to say what I feel needs to be said.
Oh, and real fucking convenient for Cartman that he's out "adventuring" for the past two days, and that he can't make it to his defence OR the meeting. The majority overlook his unwarranted behaviour, yet persecute me for what I consider an outburst that Cartman provoked. Yes Man defaultUser Avatar talk 23:03, March 24, 2012 (UTC)
