Harpoon guns are a common heavy weapon in the Fallout 4 add-on Far Harbor.


Originally mounted on whaling ships, the harpoon gun is a heavy weapon that has proven effective against the mutated creatures plaguing Far Harbor and Mount Desert Island.[1]


The harpoon gun is a heavy weapon and acts as a single shot, high damage tool. Its harpoon ammunition can be customized to inflict different types of damage on the enemies, meaning it can stay in use through the game. All harpoons pin limbs by default, like the railway rifle, but only barbed and regular harpoons can be salvaged.
