Helvetia is a location in Fallout 76.
Background[edit | edit source]
Settled by German and Swiss immigrants in 1869, Helvetia was a village of professionals and craftsmen, including musicials, cheesemakers, stonesmasons, doctors, and teachers. With additional immigration from Switcerland and areas of the United States, Helvetia's population rose to 308 by 1875.
Helvetia never expanded beyond a village, maintaining its unique German-American culture, including art and holidays. The nuclear war barely touched the little village, which offered little in the way of interest to looters or raiders. After all, who has the time to load black powder guns with a crazed junkie charging at them?
Points of interest[edit | edit source]
- Helvetia is a small village in the Forest, offering minor loot and a limited number of unique opportunities. However, it's worth visiting to see the unique - and sometimes bizarre - artwork, as well as the legendary Cheese House.
