Template:Fallout 3 and New Vegas Quotations Project

The Fallout 3 and New Vegas quotations project is a project which aims to add page-top quotations to all Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas characters/locations/quests/factions articles. Nothing like a good quote in the beginning of the article to stylise it and make the wiki more conceptual and attractive.

Scope

All Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas character/location/quest/faction articles.

Guidelines

  • If there is an interesting and smart quote that is already in the Notable Quotes section, feel free to move it to the top, making it more appreciable for the wiki readers/users.
  • Do not forget to cite the source/character that used that line.
  • If the character/faction appears in more than one title of the Fallout series, make sure to specify the game it was taken from. For example: Marcus is a character featured in both Fallout 2 and Fallout New Vegas. If any article receives a quote from him, specify the game which it is from.

Participants

To participate, simply add your name below using {{userlink|your user name}}. Place every participant on a new line and KEEP THEM IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER EXCEPT FOR THE PROJECT LEADER.

Comments

I've done Mothership Zeta but have left blanks of either dead characters, ones that don't speak and the two soldiers who can be revived. Otherwise the main characters have been done. Kiwi 3992205 20:06, April 20, 2012 (UTC)

Try looking for dialogue about them. Perhaps one of the characters mentions them or something... that's the best bet. Yes Man defaultUser Avatar talk 01:29, April 21, 2012 (UTC)
If I get the chance today, I'll look in the GECK and see if I can strip some background comments from the characters. I've got a ton of GECK work to do, but I'll try to look into it for you. The Gunny 380px-USMC-E7 svg 15:19, April 21, 2012 (UTC)

I might be able to hop on FO3 later and talk to some people - easiest way to get quotes after all. SigmaDelta54 (Talk) 15:24, April 21, 2012 (UTC)

I'm actually replaying Fallout 3 in my spare time to get some quotes... but I'm too busy having fun to actually pay attention. A good way to get easy quotes is to watch "Let's Play" videos on Youtube. Yes Man defaultUser Avatar talk 05:17, April 22, 2012 (UTC)

The character "Officer Armstrong" will be given a No because he is an exact copy of Gomez. User Broccoli Broccoli. 03:16, April 26, 2012 (UTC)

If the character never speaks, remove them. If the character only says generic NPC lines, just Yes it as completed. -- Bacon-Man Talk to me goose! 03:24, April 26, 2012 (UTC)
