Johnson's Acre is a location in the Savage Divide region of Appalachia.

Background[]

When the Great War occurred, Johnson's Acre was being used by a hunter named Adam. He saw a mushroom cloud off in the distance in Virginia from the cabin's window. Knowing that he would eventually run out of supplies, Adam decided he would need to make his way to Charleston to scavenge what he could.[1] At some point after Adam's departure, raiders took over the area surrounding the retreat, though they died to hostile wildlife before 2102.

By 2103, the site has been occupied by the Cult of the Mothman. This particular group of cultists have kidnapped the pet of the leader of a rival gang during the quest Pet Peeve.

Layout[]

This cabin looks over the southern edge of Appalachia and inside is a bed and various containers that can be looted. A cooking station, weapons workbench, brewing station and water pump can be utilized outside. Lead ore can be collected from at least four lead deposits northeast of the house.

On the top of the eastern rocks, three dynamite plungers can be found, connected to spike board traps. On top of the traps are three skeletons that are catapulted into the distance if the dynamite plungers are activated.

Notable loot[]

  • Taking a chance - Holotape, on the end table near the couch.
  • Always watching - Note, on a picnic table near the center.
  • Chapter 7 - Holotape, on a wooden table outside of the cabin, near a yellow first aid box.
  • Cultist dagger - Inside the cabin, in a wood stove.
  • Ritual bindings and ritual mask - Inside the cabin, in a blue bin and on top of a dresser.
  • Two potential Vault-Tec bobbleheads:
    • In the "effluent hole" of the outhouse.
    • East of the cabin, on the top of the tall rock promontory with the three dead skeletons (and possible power armor frame), by the corner of the broken wood crate with the skeleton inside.
  • Two potential magazines:
    • Inside the cabin by the fireplace.
    • South of the cabin, on the picnic table by the tire and barrel.
  • Potential recipe - Inside the cabin, on a stool to the left of a refrigerator.
  • A suit of raider power armor can be found on the upper cliff.
