Paladin Brandis, sir. It's been an honor, sir.”
Background[edit | edit source]
One of the best marksmen in the Brotherhood, Knight Astlin was part of Recon Team 429-Alpha under Paladin Brandis. After the team was hit by the Institute, they attempted to fall back to the National Guard Training Yard. Astlin's orders were to hold her position until the rest of the unit returned, but the site was shortly overrun by feral ghouls. She died defending her post, still waiting for her team to respond to her distress pulser.

"A soldier to the end. Well done, Knight. They should have fortified their camp, made it a proper outpost. But they must not have had time. And Astlin paid the price."
(Danse's dialogue) Note: The former line is spoken when bringing Danse to the corpse of Tara Astlin, the latter is spoken after listening to Knight Astlin's holotape during the quest The Lost Patrol.
