The Wattz 2000 laser rifle is an energy weapon in Fallout.

Background

The following section is transcluded from Laser rifle. To modify, please edit the source page.

The Wattz 2000 laser rifle (also referred to as the Sunbeam laser rifle)[1] uses microfusion cells for more powerful lasers, and an extended barrel for additional range.[2][1] The Wattz 2000 was mass produced before the Great War, and was accurate enough to be used as a sniper rifle in the Sino-American War[3]

Characteristics

A laser-based sniper rifle, with just 5 hexes less range than the DKS-501 it's based on and almost twice the range of a plasma rifle. It's excellent range makes it an attractive prospect, even though many enemies will have notable laser damage resistances.
