With each level of this Perk, you gain an additional 4 Hit Points. This may not seem like a lot, but every little bit helps.

With each level of this Perk, you gain an additional 4 Hit Points every time you advance a level. This is in addition to the hit points you already gain per level based off of your endurance.

Fallout and Fallout 2 description

Livegiver or Life Giver is a perk in Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 4, Fallout Tactics, J.E. Sawyer's Fallout Role-Playing Game, and Lionheart.

Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics, and J.E. Sawyer's Fallout Role-Playing Game[edit | edit source]

+4 hit points per level gained (+8 with both ranks). The gain is quite substantial and more than even 10 Endurance could give, giving an excellent margin for any heavy fighting and criticals.

Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas[edit | edit source]

+30 hit points. The perk also unlocks additional choices with some characters, like Tree Father Birch in Oasis.

The files indicate the perk should be available in three ranks, but only one is implemented.

In general, Lifegiver is barely worth it. Intense Training with less than 9 Endurance provides +20 HP, +2 Survival/Unarmed, minor poison/radiation resistance, and access to another implant.

Fallout 4[edit | edit source]

The Life Giver perk raises your maximum Health, and can even lead to regeneration.

Fallout 4 loading screen hints
  • Rank 1: +20 hit points
  • Rank 2: +40 hit points
  • Rank 3: +60 hit points and regeneration. Health regenerates over time, at a rate of approximately 3 hit points per second.

Lionheart[edit | edit source]

+6 hit points. With two ranks, this amounts to a toal of 12 additional Hit Points.
