Heavy-duty terminals.

Terminals found in Fallout are typically scenery items meant to decorate levels. A number of terminals, however, offer unique scripted functionality and this article is intended as a breakdown of all the available terminals.

Vault 13: Level 3, in the library (two terminals) 350 experience reward for using Science on each terminal Must pass an Intelligence check LIBCOMP.MSG
Vault 12: Level 3, in the ops room Using the terminal yields the water chip. The player can reinstall it by simply using it on the terminal again. Must pass a Repair check. Using Science on the terminal reduces the check difficulty NH2OCOMP.MSG
The Glow: Level 1, chamber with Allen's body Used to activate emergency power
The Glow: Level 4, central chamber Terminal at the mainframe is used for interacting with ZAX 1.2 ZAX.MSG
The Glow: Level 6, generator room Used to manage power generation after repairing the generators. Also offers lore on West Tek and the FEV project. GPWRTERM.MSG
Lost Hills: Level 3, Vree's lecture room +15% Science The player has to talk to Vree and ask about holodisks and computers to be granted access to a training course. TERM.MSG
Mariposa Military Base: Level 1, south-eastern room. Allows for hacking into the forcefield system to shut them down for 800 experience. The player can also use a radio to gain the ability to toggle yellow force fields on and off. Must pass a Gambling check to hack into the terminal. COMMAND.MSG
Mariposa Military Base: Level 1, chamber near the elevator. Allows for altering robot behavior, including making them attack super mutants. Checking the date and telling the terminal to recalibrate will break it. Must use Science to access the terminal. ROBCTRL.MSG
Mariposa Military Base: Level 4, Vats control room Vats control computer. Allows for activating the base self-destruct and downloading logs belonging to Roger Maxson and Richard Grey (the Master). Must use Science or security card from Children technicians to access. VCONCOMP.MSG
Los Angeles Vault: Level 1, just beyond the air lock. Allows for locating Mariposa Military Base for 1250 experience (can also be done on terminals on level 2). Must use Science to access the terminal.
Los Angeles Vault: Level 4 Atomic access computer, allowing the player to arm the bomb for detonation. Science or Repair 70% or the hardware key from the Lieutenant's locker. MVCOMP.MSG
