The Locksmith perk allows you to open increasingly difficult locks, and may even prevent your picks from breaking.

Locksmith is a perk in Fallout 4.


The Locksmith perk has four ranks: the first rank allows you to pick Advanced locks, the second allows you to pick Expert locks and the third allows you to pick Master locks. The fourth and final rank makes it so bobby pins will never break when picking a lock.


  • This perk is the replacement of the Lockpicking skill from previous Fallout entries.
