Lorenzo's crown is an headgear-type item in Fallout 4.

Lorenzo's crown is an artifact that, according to notes written and compiled by Jack Cabot, was discovered in the ruins of an ancient city named Ubar, which is located somewhere in the Rub Al'Khali. It was the sole artifact removed from the site during Lorenzo's 1894 expedition, discovered in an underground crypt on the head of a long-dead ancient creature. Lorenzo took the crown and ordered the crypt sealed up to prevent looting. Despite his better judgement, he decided to try the crown on. The resulting interface between a long-dormant Ubar artifact and the mind of Lorenzo resulted in a swift change in personality. Lorenzo ordered the entire site buried against the wishes of Metternich, his co-worker, so that it could be preserved until he returned together with his family and harness the might of this technology. Lorenzo returned to Boston with it in his possession, continuing his experiments.[1]

The result of Lorenzo's experimentation with the crown manifested gradually. His physiology was altered and he slowly gained a number of extraordinary powers, including cessation of aging and limited telekinesis. Unfortunately for Lorenzo, the technology was too much for his limited biology, and was driven mad. Fearing for their lives, and the lives of everyone else, the rest of the Cabot family had Lorenzo and the artifact locked away below the Parsons State insane asylum in 1898. It remained there ever since, with Jack unable to devise a method for removing the crown that would not kill his father.

As the crown cannot be obtained in the vanilla game, without the use of console commands, this crown provides very limited defensive capabilities, and provides no additional effects.
