Looking for someone to help you warm up that big lonely bed, huh? Let me see who I've got available. Hmm, why don't you try Fannie Mae? She oughta be around here somewheres. You can make the arrangements with her yourself.”
Background[edit | edit source]
Ol' Lou was once a beautiful woman, but decades of hard living have left their mark on her, hidden beneath a quantity of rouge uncommonly found in the wastelands. However, in her line of work, looks aren't everything. She is a shrewd businesswoman and the owner of the largest tavern and hotel in the town of Redding. Leveraging the importance of the city to the powers of the wasteland: NCR, Vault City, and New Reno, she offers booze, food, beds with (mostly) clean sheets, and companionship for the night to people visiting the city.
Lou is personable, but even she has her character flaws. She doesn't tolerate freaks inside her establishment, which means super mutants, ghouls, clandestine deathclaws, and cyborgs have to wait outside. Likewise, she is first and foremost a businesswoman, who does not hesitate to cut dead weight off.
