The malfunctioning super sledge is a miscellaneous item in Fallout: New Vegas.
Characteristics
It is a unique, broken, and unobtainable super sledge. It cannot be picked up or equipped. The weapon is also unable to be taken into the inventory. Should the Courier attempt to do so within the Hidden Valley bunker, a nearby scribe will comment, "Good luck killing something with that. Thing's busted."
Locations
The malfunctioning super sledge is found on level two of the Brotherhood of Steel bunker in Hidden Valley, along with the similarly inoperable broken laser rifle, jammed minigun, broken power armor, and broken power helmet.
Notes
Despite being inoperable, the malfunctioning super sledge is still considered a weapon item in the game files.
