Reckon it's the Orange Fever. I do feel light in my head...”— Marguerite
A tough lady (aside from the fake illness that she pretends to have), Marguerite may not share the looks of the typical local, but she is not troubled by them, having been a Point Lookout resident since birth. In fact, she is the descendant of a locally renown family of moonshiners, guarding the secret ingredient in her family's recipe, that of which is battery acid taken from fission batteries.
Interactions with the player character

A Spoonful of Whiskey: Marguerite will make her famous moonshine if the Lone Wanderer brings her the ingredients.
Effects of player actions
- When first encountered, Marguerite pretends to be sick in an attempt to get visitors to gather materials to cure her "Orange Fever". If the Lone Wanderer's Medicine skill is high enough (over 70), she will drop the pretense and ask for them to gather the items needed to make her moonshine.
- If the Lone Wanderer has a Repair skill of 44 or more, they can also volunteer to fix Marguerite's still for 100 caps (200 caps with a speech check).
- After completing the quest A Spoonful of Whiskey, Marguerite will make some of her famous moonshine whenever asked, so long as the necessary ingredients are gathered for her.

Drops on death
Occasionally, when the Lone Wanderer enters Marguerite's shack from the front entrance, she will get up from her bed, run to the back door (as if she was fleeing from someone), and stop; she will then return to the bed.
