Media is the communication outlets and/or tools used to store and deliver information or data. Specifically the components of the mass media communications industry, such as print media, publishing, the news, photography, motion pictures, broadcasting (radio and television), and advertising. These outlets were used as a means of both entertainment, information gathering, and information spreading: ie basic news and propaganda.
From the basic billboard advertisement through AM/FM radio to Holographic cinematography were in widespread use until the Great War of 2077. While the immediate termination of mass media ended widespread en masse information accessibility, their cultural impact did not cease, as centuries afterword people would take up leftover equipment and propagate local media.
