Military checkpoint (Lake Cochituate)

This checkpoint is entirely facing the north, towards Natick. On the road north of the checkpoint are two wrecked vehicles, a sedan which as stopped against a telephone pole (bending it to the west, piled against it is detritus) and a bubble sedan. The bubble sedan wreck is partially buried before the eastern barricade; a barrel stands directly across the road.
The checkpoint itself starts with two thick barricades on the sides of the roadway. Past this the devastation begins, on the east side of the road is the remains of a concrete divider, behind which is an ammo box before the shipping container, and between this and the elevated armored platform – if the endgame parameters – is the end of dungeon trunk. On this shipping container is a brain fungus, the platform itself is curved. Past the platform is a steel shelving and a crate in front of a wooden crate (these are only there when endgame parameters). This wooden crate is partially buried, behind it is another shipping container partially buried and pinned by a fallen tree.
On the opposite side is the other elevated armored platform, the remains of a chain-link fence is on both sides of the road. However on this side the evidence of landslide/liquefaction is more prevalent. This platform, like the detritus, barrels, and crates are all partially buried in muck. Directly behind this platform is the remains of a bubble sedan, between this and the nearly completely buried infantry fighting vehicle (the IFV appears to have been carried by the landslide into a telephone pole) is a partial suit of power armor standing erect and facing southeast. Behind the armor is another shipping container.
Right after the checkpoint is the Glowing Sea. The visible decimation of the soil and the charred frame of a boxy sedan mark the boundary between the regions.
