This Military checkpoint is located on the road north of Lexington. It is at the crossroad north of Mystic Pines and south of the rotten landfill, partially beneath the elevated freeway.

Layout[edit | edit source]

Facing south toward Mystic Pines is this checkpoint. The road to Lexington has been secured by concrete barriers, forming a military checkpoint tightly controlling movement in the area. To the east, in the ditch is a skeleton beneath detritus propped up by sand bags in a sort of makeshift lean-to.

Past this is the main barricade, a split level armored platform plastered with propaganda posters. Parked just behind the barricade is an infantry fighting vehicle and two crates. The IFV has since partially settled into the soil.

To the northwest, at the crossroad, is a ruined truck that was forced to make a tight turn to get past that road's barricade. It sits just on the road with crates and barrels flanking its north side. In the middle of the crossroad is the skeleton of a woman in a blue dress. Across from the crossroad is a platform, on it are crates, a metal shelf with a battered clipboard, and if the endgame quest is completed, a trunk. This platform is partially lit by glowing fungus. Two red barrels and more crates lie at the northern corner. To the south of this platform are three wooden road barriers separating the road from the soil.

To the north of the platform is another ruined truck, it sits against a boulder just off the road. At its base, to the south is a wild carrot. In the hills to the west is a skeleton in a bathtub and a collander. Next to which is a blue arm chair facing an overturned refrigerator with a Dandy Boy Apples and a dose of Jet.

Appearances[edit | edit source]

Military checkpoint appears only in Fallout 4.
