A mine box is a container designed for safe transport and storage of mines, appearing in Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas.

The following section is transcluded from Ammunition box. To modify, please edit the source page.

An ammunition box is typically made of metal and labelled with caliber, quantity, and manufacturing date or lot number. A rubber gasket is commonly found in the hinged lid to protect the ammunition from moisture damage.

Mine boxes are uncommonly found throughout the wasteland, particularly in areas where a military force is or was operating.

Some are locked when initially found. The contents of most mine boxes randomize on a per-game basis.

Possible contents

  • Frag mines
  • Pulse mines
  • Plasma mines.
