Background[edit | edit source]
Before Vault 81 largely became weary towards outsiders, Miranda befriended an outsider, another woman, and the two quickly developed a relationship. As the relationship peaked, the woman convinced Miranda to give her all of the supplies and money that she could muster, in which she would set them up with a new life outside of the vault. Miranda waited for word from her, until many months passed by, and a visiting trader revealed to Miranda that the woman was now with a man, living out of Diamond City.
Because of this, Miranda now holds a deep grudge for outsiders, and is quick to anger when speaking to them, in which she will refuse to speak with them any further.
