Mirelurk cakes are a consumable item in Fallout 3.

Mirelurk cakes are savory cakes that are made with the meat of mirelurks combined with eggs, stale bread, mayonnaise, scrub plant, and salt. All the ingredients are mixed together, then formed into a ball and cooked in a oiled pan.[1]

Despite the source material, they are inferior to mirelurk meat, healing only a quarter of the health. In this sense they are closer to hatchling mirelurk meat.

  • Mirelurk cakes can mostly be found with diner merchants.
  • A large number can be found in the fridges in the Anchorage War Memorial.

  • Apparently, mirelurk cakes induces flatulence, as hinted at in a dialogue option with Gary Staley, the owner of the Rivet City diner.
  • Gary Staley, the owner of Rivet City's marketplace diner believes he is something of an expert at making them, although the cakes available at the Galley are exactly the same as everywhere else.
