Background
Nahant was always a small coastal town. In the native American language, nahanten meant "twins" which still describes the archipelago centuries later with the two islands connected by a thin isthmus. English Puritans settled the lands in the 1630s, and it slowly became a tourist destination in the 19th century.[1]
Sometime after Divergence, the Nahant Oceanological Society was founded, and the illustrious Croup family erected a mansion on the northern cliffs.
Layout
The bowed island is rather straightforward: the Nahant Oceanological Society and Nahant chapel lie on the eastern side, Croup Manor at the northern apex of the archipelago, and Nahant sheriff's department and wharf are on the western wide. The raider settlement Libertalia lies just off the coast of the wharf.
Appearances
The town of Nahant appears only in Fallout 4.
