Thinking about becoming admin?

I see you're wondering if you're ready for adminship. I think you have the qualities for it, but are not quite there yet. When I browse your edits it's still a lot link updating and decapping words. In itself that is helpful, but I think an aspiring admin should take on bigger challenges. You've now got enough experience for that. Garoux is rewriting contents and generally digs into the matter of pages more. That's operating on a higher level. It's totally up to you of course how and what you want do do here, but I thought I should give you this friendly advice, hoping you are willing to do something with it. It's good you joined a project (you can add it to your resume when applying for admin). It will improve your confidence. And you may consider shifting your edit/chat time ratio a bit in favor of editing. Editing is the more important thing, it will give you the best experience to be able to progress here. And people are more likely to vote for an editor, because they are the ones who need and use the deletion and block rights, and not so much someone who spends his time in chat. Eminem feat. Elton John

I love Elton John. He's one of my top five musicians (along with The Beatles, David Bowie, Electric Light Orchestra, and Bob Dylan). On the other hand, I really dislike rap music. I just find it repetitive, soulless and lacking in what I look for in music. But that Eminem & Elton John song on your page might have changed my mind. I've always thought that Eminem was legitimately talented, but to hear him alongside Elton was actually really awesome. As much as I find it odd to admit, that song was amazing. That's the problem, I know he means well but I can smell the mentality of someone who is very young. I wouldn't say "mad". More like "upset". Some people were disappointed and some felt that I wasn't ready. I now realise that I am not quite ready yet. I can understand that. My issue is keeping this wiki professional though. Clutter and speculation are not on my list for how to keep things that way. I can understand how that might upset certain people who are looking for the small details, but I work on a different wavelength than that. As for whether I work for myself or the people, I consider this a job and I act accordingly. This means I go by the rules set in place for me and I take the initiative to change this site for the better. There is no such thing as "By the book." when it comes to banning. We only have guidelines. Sorry, I should have at least explained myself first. The problem is, an Anon coming to this wiki and making his first edit one where he deletes content and writes in "Fuck you." deserves way longer than a measly 3-day ban. Only reason I went with 3-months is because I agree with J about how anon accounts could be computers at the library/school/etc. It would be kind of unfair to ban an IP forever if that's the case. ^Skål! 07:16, February 5, 2012 (UTC)

In general you can't really say it's notable, because it depends on level if an enemy has an LMG in his inventory. An exception though is Quarry Junction. That's the only fixed one, nicely thought of by the developers. It's there for the taking from level 1 on. Try to get it though, with all those deathclaws... Jspoel 15:34, February 5, 2012 (UTC)
