Nitrous oxide (N2O) is a type of gas used in surgery as an anesthesia. This gas is stored in green tanks supported by a rolling stand. Gauges on the stand monitor the amount of gas being applied to a patient through a gas mask. Warning labels adorn the tanks warning individuals of the potential devastating explosions resultant from mishandling nitrous oxide. Nitrous oxide is manufactured and stored in the Vault-Tec Vaults.
