A P90 or P90c is a name given to sub-compact submachine guns in the Fallout universe. They boast high damage, low weight, and a horizontal feed system that allow them to carry a startling amount of ammunition. While they have an odd appearance, they are the favourite submachine guns of many late-game factions.

Models[edit | edit source]

H&K P90c[edit | edit source]

The Heckler & Koch P90c was just coming into use at the time of the war. The P90c is a selective fire, straight blowback-operated weapon with a very high cyclic rate and an unorthodox design intended to make it as ergonomic and ambidextrous as possible. The weapon is grasped by means of a thumbhole in the frame that acts as a pistol grip, as well as an oversized trigger guard that acts as a foregrip for the shooter's support hand. To maximize maneuverability and minimize size, the weapon is built in a bullpup configuration, with the magazine mounted horizontally parallel to the barrel on top of the weapon's frame.[1][2]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

The real-world P90 is produced by FN, and doesn't have a 'c' designation in the line. They're also chambered for the FN 5.7x28mm armor-piercing round instead of 9 or 10mm.
