Patients can be found in Megaton's and Rivet City's clinics in Fallout 3.


Patients are residents who have become ill or injured and now reside in the clinic so the doctor may observe and later treat them.

Interactions with the player character

Other interactions

  • Attempting to talk to them will result in a "Patient is unconcious" message.
  • The patients in Megaton will drop an ear, while the one in Rivet City will drop a finger when killed.


Patients appear only in Fallout 3.


  • Patients can sometimes spawn standing on beds with no dialog and won't move
  • The patients are not always present in the clinics. It is unknown where they go if they disappear.
