This is your ear. The Masticator bit it off during the fight and spit it on your unconscious body. If you are reading this, it probably means you will be reloading soon. Of course, it is possible this item has some special value.

The Player's ear is a miscellaneous item in Fallout 2.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Losing your ear reduces your Charisma by 1 permanently.

Locations[edit | edit source]

The Masticator can rip your ear off, if he hits you while you have 110 HP or less.

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

  • The item description is one of the occasions in Fallout 2 where the game implies that you are playing a video game.
  • Unlike a Mutated toe, you cannot eat your ear, nor force-feed it to anyone else.
  • This is a reference to the infamous boxing incident when Mike Tyson Bit off a portion of Evander Holyfield's ear.
