There's a typo in the featured article about The Lieutenant. It says "but his" when it should say "by his." Just thought someone who could fix the problem would like to know.--Bigwill817 02:52, February 10, 2011 (UTC)

Fallout 1 black screen

so as I play fallout 1 a black screen(more like an computer screen film) takes my screen up. when I move my mouse it removes the film. when I press p outside of combat it opens my pipboy menu, which in exchamge clears it all at once. But how do I keep it from appearing period?

Windows 7 Patch

I'd sure like to play this game, I even owned it briefly in the three pack. Unfortunately, the computer I bought happened to arrive with Win 7 already installed. This means of course, that it won't play any of the Fallout PC games.

Does anyone have any clue how, when, where, how much a compatibility patch is available?

You can buy it from GOG and it will work fine on Windows 7. If you still have your old copy and want to get that working, though, have a look around NMA, I got Fallout 1 and 2 working (though through a fair bit of trouble) thanks to that community, although I don't remember exactly what I did. Good luck. --IsaacSin 04:12, August 19, 2011 (UTC)
