Rad Child is a perk in Fallout Tactics, Fallout: New Vegas, and J.E. Sawyer's Fallout Role-Playing Game and skill in Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel.

Effects[edit | edit source]

Fallout Tactics and JES Fallout Role Playing Game[edit | edit source]

This perk is available for ghouls only; when irradiated the ghouls Healing Rate increases.

Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel[edit | edit source]

With this skill, Cain restores HP whenever he takes radiation damage.

Point requirements[edit | edit source]

  • 1 Rank: 48 points

Fallout: New Vegas[edit | edit source]

Health slowly regenerates when irradiated. The rate at which it heals is dependent upon extent to which the player is irradiated:

  • Minor radiation poisoning (200-399 rads): +2 HP/second
  • Advanced radiation poisoning (400-599 rads): +4 HP/second
  • Critical radiation poisoning (600-799 rads): +6 HP/ second
  • Deadly radiation poisoning (800-999 rads): +8 HP/second

As always, if one reaches 1000 rads, they will die immediately.
