Radroaches are creatures that appear in Fallout Shelter.

Background

Main article: Radroach

Great American cockroaches, colloquially called radroaches or simply giant cockroaches, are giant versions of the pre-War species Periplaneta americana that have increased in size due to prolonged exposure to the radioactive fallout of the Great War.[1]

Characteristics

Radroaches are technically the weakest enemies in the game, and will be encountered when sending vault dwellers out to explore the wastes, and during incidents, in which they will commonly infest rooms that have failed a rush order. During the beginning of the game, radroaches can be taken down by vault dwellers that are not even equipped; however, as more and more vault dwellers are introduced to the vault, and especially should they be allowed to infest a vault to great numbers, they will become stronger and stronger, to the point where heavily equipped vault dwellers will be needed just to take down a small group of them.
