The ruined radio tower is a location on the Island in 2287.
Background
The tower was inhabited by an unnamed man who managed to wire his radio into the tower and listen to Diamond City Radio. Shortly after, some wolves were attracted by the sounds and killed him.
Layout
The location consists of a small single-room operator trailer at the base of the transmitter tower, with a parasol table and an Advanced-locked safe just outside the entrance. The trailer itself contains the tower's control equipment, a sleeping bag, a cooking station, and assorted food and beverages.
Notable loot
- Radioman's note - On the radio control console.
- Nuka-Cola Quantum - In the fridge.
- Vim - In the basket next to the sleeping bag.
Notes
- The contents of the radioman's note at this location justifies the ability to listen to Diamond City Radio and other Commonwealth radio stations while on the Island.
- There are a couple of trees with buckets to harvest raw sap just east of the trailer entrance.
- There is a skeleton with bobby pins next to it behind the trailer.
- The sound of the heavy wind is heard continuously in the background in this location, indicating the site's high altitude relative to much of the rest of the Island.
Appearances
The ruined radio tower appears only in the Fallout 4 add-on Far Harbor.
